Description
Here is a great DJ pressing of two novelty Christmas songs by Louis Armstrong. This record is from the personal collection of a 1950's disc jockey who specialized in Pop, Jazz, and R&B and it has been in storage for over 50 years. It looks nearly new and sounds great.
The grade below refers to sound quality only, as played on a 1947 model RCA record player with a modern magnetic cartridge and no sound processing whatsoever. It has been gently cleaned, and placed in a new paper sleeve. The record appears nearly new, but the labels have writing on both sides. It sounds great like most DJ pressings do.

Side B - 'Zat you, Santa Claus? E-
Please remember record grading is not a scientific process, but is subjective, at best, no matter who the grader is. If it is a visual grade, many records look good but may play terrible, or look bad and play great. If it's play graded the grade depends on the grader's judgment as well as the quality of the sound system used. I think most graders try to be as honest as possible, but the bottom line is that rarely do any two people, or seller and buyer, give the same record the exact same grade. I try to be as fair as possible with grading and descriptions to avoid disappointments, but always just make a bid that you will be comfortable with.
I pack records very well to withstand careless shippers and the cost of packing materials plus USPS charges far exceed the $4 eBay allows for shipping. Please keep this in mind when you consider my (and other seller's) listing prices. Records are shipped via USPS media mail unless pre-arrangements are made. Shipments may be combined from my other auctions if all records are purchased on the same date, or other arrangements are agreed to, and an invoice is issued by me prior to payment. Shipping cost is $4 for the first record and $1 for each additional record. I respect all eBay rules and policies, please don't ask me to break them. Thank you for looking and good luck with all of your eBay bidding!
