Description
This is an original used LP vinyl of Love’s self-titled debut album released on Elektra records in 1966 (Serial Number: EKS 74001). This is the first UK red label pressing in which the U.K disc came in the U.S sleeve. This is an extremely rare and collectable item on this format, especially in this condition. *Please note that this item is listed in the ‘Record Collector: Rare Record Price Guide 2006’*I am therefore looking to attract sensible bids on this item from serious customers/collectors. You will not find a better archive copy of this classic and much sought after Psych LP!

The record sleeve is in near mint condition, having only a few minor scuffs to the outer corners and a cut-off to the top left-hand corner. The vinyl disc itself is in truly mint condition (ie: there are NO scuffs, scratches or marks that impair the audio quality whatsoever) having actually never been played!
All of my items are posted via Royal Mail / Airmail packaged in cardboard to ensure that no damage is caused to them during transit.*This particular item will be posted via ‘Airsure’ to overseas customers, meaning a slightly higher postage cost but with that comes increased speed and security.* Please note that I have not offered combined postage on multiple items. On 07-Aug-06 at 20:55:20 BST, seller added the following information: *It has been brought to my attention that this LP is infact a re-pressing from the 70s and that the first UK pressings of this album were released by Elektra with an orange textured label. Future bidders should be aware of this* On 09-Aug-06 at 04:47:25 BST, seller added the following information: *After doing yet more research on the Elektra label, I have now discovered that it was in the late summer of 1969 that the Elektra label changed color to red with white print. The red label with the large "E" logo lasted until about the late summer of 1970 when the label changed design altogether, to a multicolor label with a butterfly design. Therefore, this stereo pressing of Love's debut album was released sometime between the middle of 1969 and 1970, making it at least 36 years old! This is incredible given its immaculate condition*
