Very rare original pre-release Mono copy of Love's second album "Da Capo" on the white Elektra Records "Promotional Preview Copy Not For Sale" labels with the EKL-4005 catalog number. This DJ radio station copy was pressed significantly earlier perhaps, several months before the official commercial release in November 1966. The cover is still in the original factory shrink wrap in Excellent condition. The album comes with an original gold Elektra Records inner sleeve. The vinyl is in Strong Very Good Plus condition with a beautiful glossy lustre. Side A would even be graded as Excellent if it wasn't due to a very light non-feelable hairline and some tiny barely noticeable factory lacquer defect, which don't affect the playback in any way. The vinyl plays with a crisp, crystal clear and atmospheric Monophonic sound, which is quite impressive, considering that usually these white promotional label copies were very often played at radio stations. The labels are in Near Mint condition and don't have any signs of spindle marks, only having some light small age spots. If you are a fan of Arthur Lee, please make sure to check out a true Mono Promotional Copy of Love Forever Changes with the promotional labels also currently listed for an auction.
