Description
This LP is getting very difficult to find.
It's on the UK Elektra label and is by a US band called Love. It's entitled 'Forever Changes' and was released in 1967. The band is led by the great Arthur Lee and the music features very strong psychedelic influences. It's an absolute classic.
It's a mono recording and the catalogue number is EKL 4013.
OUTER SLEEVE - The sleeve which is laminated on both sides is in fine condition with some wear, ring wear and creasing on both back and front. The edges and spine show some minor wear. The wording along the spine is 95% readable. I've graded the sleeve VG++. It states on the back - 'Produced by ARTHUR LEE with BRUCE BOTNIK - Production Supervisor - JAC HOLZMAN - Front cover art - BOB PEPPER - Back cover photo -RONNIE HARAN - Cover design - WILLIAM S. HARVEY'.
INNER BAG - Plain white paper type.
RECORD - The record is in fine condition. It appears to have been played a few times. There are some superficial marks on each side. It plays through well on both sides with some minor surface noise and one or two pops and clicks on both sides. There are no jumps on any of the tracks on either side.
LABELS - The labels are the original orange type with the black Elektra logo at the top and black wording. There are some spindle marks on both sides around the hole. The labels are in fine condition with no damage. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - EKL 4013 A1 - side two - EKL 4013 B1. I've graded the record as Ex-- which I believe is very fair.
I try to grade everything very conservatively and I believe that the winner of this auction will not be disappointed. I guarantee everything I sell. It will be difficult to find this record again.
THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS ITEM.
