The debut album from Love led by ARTHUR LEE, they were a cut above the average 'rock a roll' outfit - they were far more interesting and sophisticated than most.
Elektra didn't hesitate to issue their records in the UK and the band set a high standard with their early albums. Indeed the lp 'Forever Changes' draws effusive acclaim from critics and fans of progressive rock, and is revered by enthusiasts today - deservedly so.
Arthur Lee was a longtime friend of Jimi Hendrix and The Doors, the top artists of the late sixties. He insisted Elektra sign The Doors to the lable!
CONDITION;
The VINYL has decent shine and the music plays loud & clear. Grading VG+ to ++
There's some surface scuff, playing through with no problems, only light wear and nothing deep or into the grooves.
Classic rough GOLD STEREO Labels are VG++ no pen or stickers.
The solid SINGLE SLEEVE CARD COVER is VG+, some general wear. Elektra packaged using the US covers for their artists in 1966, the same with Tim Buckley, Paul Butterfield etc.
