Description
3ChordRecords is offering for sale a Very Good first pressing original copy of the 1970 double Stereo LP by LOVE "Out Here" on Harvest/EMI Records.
Cat No. SHDW 3/4
Both discs are pressed on thick black vinyl, both discs are Excellent and retain much of their original sheen, there are a small number of light marks but no scratches affecting play and the records play without any crackle or background noise even in the gaps between songs, just great first press sound. The Matrix numbers show that this is a first pressing they are A1:B2 on both discs. The labels are excellent with light spidering on both but no wear/damage. The labels include the words THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD and include no boxed EMI logo.
Both discs come in the original white inner sleeves, complete with british patent no's 800513 & 973939. There is neat writing on the inner sleeve confirming the album and the original owner. The gatefold laminated picture sleeve is VG, there are a number of creases and laminate lift areas front and back and wear to the corner and edges. There are no seam splits and no tears. The spine photo shows the light creasing and the worse wear in the bottom left hand corner, there is also light ringwear. The inside sleeve has no tears or creases, there is discolouration particularly of the white areas visible on the photos. On the inside of sleeve not the picture part but where Disc 1 goes in there is shop writing confirming the record and the price.
I have tried to pick out all the faults of the sleeve in the description and the photos give a good indication of condition, overall this remains a very solid VG sleeve housing first pressing discs. Bid with confidence.
