Description

LOWELL FULSON HUNG DOWN HEAD CHESS 408 LP 1st Press. VG+ blue label 1970. This is a sleeper of an album by a much under appreciated Bluesman/singer guitarist. The band and horn arrangements on this album are great. Lowell's rendition of Jimmy Roger's "That's All Right" is a stand out, as well as his classic and original composition "Reconsider Baby". "Hung Down Head" has great horn arrangements and the singing on "Tollin' Bells (covered by Paul Butterfield) is as good as anything out there. Highly recommended.
Jacket and disc are VG+ . I bought this new and played it very little. Been kept in my collection for years with plastic outer sleeve to protect the jacket. Tom Principato
