LOZANO FEATURING BOBBY ARCHULETA PRIVATE PRESS MODERN SOUL/FUNK LP An unknown gem here. Utah private pressing, LOZANO INC. Gatefold, with original lyric sleeve. I've done some research, and found absolutely no other information other than the obituary for the man responsible for this, Pablo Lozano Jr., who passed in 1992 at the age of 37. Five sound samples below, taken from the actual LP up for auction. Judging from the cover, one would think this would be drenched in religious overtones, but actually, they're basically all about women. Take a listen. Also, there's a Utah Police Officers Association logo at the upper left hand corner of the front and back (part of the artwork). Cop band ? Also, they're faith almost definitely was Mormonism. The illustration is the clincher, according to authorities on the matter. Solid grooves all the way through. Take a listen.
