AHMED ADAWIYA     -    Saut el Hob   37-75033

This is a gem.  An ultra rare disc of Ahmed Adawiya, the king of saltana and grand fore father of Egyptian sha’abi music. I haven’t ever seen this disc anywhere else. The cover has a seven-tone silkscreened image of Ahmed Adawiya, and you can even feel the different layers of color with your fingers. The music is exceptionally excellent with some incredible instrumentation, including brief passages of trumpet not too mention the wicked rhythmic section. This is Ahmed Adawiya at his best, his best recordings!

Vinyl:  VG+    there are some light scuffs/surface marks here and there, which cause some audible clicks during playback. There is very light surface noise but it doesn’t detract from the music at all. Have a listen the clip to see the sound quality for yourself.

Cover:  EX-     it is a beautiful un-laminated thick paper cover with a seven tone silkscreen image on front, and two tone silkscreen on back. The cover is in great shape with a few spots that have light discoloration only, and slight ring wear only on the back cover. Lower left corner is slightly bent.
