A rare disc on Duniaphon of this great Saudi singer! Talal al Maddah (b. 1940, Mecca) was a great exponent of Hijazi music and singing of the Arabian peninsula and Persian Gulf, who became known as the ‘golden throat’ and whose fame spread across Egypt and the Levant. If you don’t already know him, you should definitely check him out!

Vinyl:  EX-    Plays wonderfully! There are two or perhaps three small light surface scuffs if you look closely, and you can hear six clicks on the whole LP during playback, but other than that it is very clean and certainly plays very clean and clear with minimal surface noise.

Cover:  EX-    Excellent condition with some minor edge wear
