Description
This auction is for an original classic 1956 LP by Billie Holiday titled “Lady Day”.
It is in very nice condition.
This album was put out on the Columbia Records label CL 637, first in 1954, and then in 1956.
This record is an original 1956 (2nd pressing).
The Columbia record label (6-Eyed) is clean with almost no wear.
The LP itself is conservatively rated at very good+ condition. Deep gloss, with very few small scratches & scuffs visible under the right lighting.
Cover listed as very good+ as well. Photos give you a good idea of the condition.
Small piece (3”) of “old cellophane tape” on the top edge.
Overall…a very nice LP for the average collector.
