Description
This is the MONO LP on the red and silver with a deep groove on both sides URANIA Records label. The record is in super clean MINT- condition on both sides, it looks like it was played 2 or 3 times maximum! There are some very light superficial marks on side 2, and one tiny mark that made 2 light pops when I spot tested it. The cover is in VG++ condition, with no split seams, some very light stains, and only minor wear. This is a red label pressing from 1953. It was recorded in Vienna on the 19th and 20th of december, 1944, and Furtwangler's sound is known for being great from this time period. This is the rarest from Furtwangler because just after it's release, Furtwangler legally stopped the sale, and Urania had to pull it out from the stores! The matrix numbers on side #1 are ULP - 7095A machine stamped, there is also the letter B machine stamped, and the letters AB etched in. On side #2 the matrix numbers are ULP 7095B machine stamped, there is the letter B machine stamped, and the letters AB etched in.
