Rare Private Press of Cherie & Jim Schwall's a Wedding Present
PRESSING INFO: Original 1971 very limited private pressing released for the wedding of Jim Schwall (of Siegel-Schwall).
tough one to find, seldom comes up for sale, rated an R1 in fuzz, acid and flowers.
From the liner notes: "This album was recorded on a sony home tape recorder. Mostly at parties, it's mostly first takes. There are no overdubs. No one in New York had anything to do with it."
As you can imagine, this lp is a pretty lo-fi affair, which gives it a very intimate and sparse vibe. Its one of those albums where it feels like you're in the same room as the musicians while they were making it.The overall sound is about half folky and half acoustic blues.
LP cover has some edge wear, Top part of cover starting to split and a cut out hole. Back cover has a few notations to mark the style of tracks from the prior owners perspective
LP has a few harmless skuffs and a couple of light scratches that look borderline between a scratch and a skuff
Comes from an avid Fillmore 60's Era Collector, make sure you bookmark us as a seller as we will be listing a boatload of Hard to find/ Rare 60's Psychedelia and Head Shop items as well as LP's. This guy knew his stuff. Multiple orders save on shipping.
Paypal is fine. Media mail comes with delivery confirmation. Just remember with media mail it can take a LONG time so if you don't see it for weeks don't be suprised, if you want priority mail then add 2 dollars to US shipping
Selling AS-IS, CD, record grading is an art not a science, a buyer may hear or see imperfections I may miss; you may experience some surface noise typical in all pressings of the period, cannot refund minor irritating snap, crackle, pops. If you are a perfectionsit then you need to shop elsewhere and only look for still sealed items, of course you'll also be paying super premium prices too. All LP's visually graded and imperfections are noted. I try to do the best I can but again this is also a matter of relativity due to ones perspective. What one sees as being near mint another feels would be trash, hence its all relative.

multiple orders save on shipping Paypal ok, all sales final, international orders are ok and shipping will be a tad more via Regular Mail about 13.00 without registration , add 10.00 for Priority Mail. Most items get packed and shipped on weekends although sometimes I get behind so please excuse. Paypal orders also get packed and shipped on weekends.
Any multiple Intl. orders over 4 lbs have to go US Priority mail and thats about 30.00 Intl. Plus
US orders not a problem bulking as many as I can together.
