Review: Glorious Beatles-esque psychedelic pop and rock, straight from the time when the Fab Four took a mess of drugs and got interesting. There are traces of Iron Butterfly and the off kilter flamboyance of Alice Cooper’s Welcome to My Nightmare as well. Singer/guitarist Marco Magnani has an equal blend of John Lennon and Paul McCartney in his voice, and blends well with what they’re playing. Instant Flight’s Colours & Lights is perfect for ‘60s revivalists. It’s catchy, upbeat pop with the occasional harder rocking forays, and it’s all done well.
