Originally released Nov 1968
This 1972
I bought this LP new in February 1974.
Cover - Gatefold, so no shrink. Minor corner touches. Little discoloration bottom center. Some light lines at top center on back. Have to tilt to light to see them.
Vinyl - Some rubs.
Sleeve - Original Warner/Reprise Loss Leaders, 1972 bottom right one side.
Matrix/Runout:
Side 1: T :0. 30841 RS 6327 A -1A 1
Side 2: T 0 30842 RS 6327 B -1A 1
See the Discogs entries. I believe this to be a match for what is the 1972 release. The Runout matches one of the variations. The label is one-color orange. Also see the printing at bottom of labels. Mine, like their 1972, has less printing, doesn’t go up the sides like later releases.
15 more reasons to thank Ray Davies and his brother and pals. The Kinks always make you glad you bought one of their records.
Very well-kept copy of a remarkable album.
