Description
Title, cat.no / Condition / any notes of interest etc:
Lem Winchester Sextet with Oliver Nelson: Lem's Beat / 1961 - Esquire UK, Mono 32- 152 / Sleeve Good / Vinyl Good / plays really well throughout after a few crackles at start / some light surface background pops
More on Condition / this is a 60 year old lp, and the condition is used, played / the vinyl retains much of its sheen but there are light marks both on the record & on the label round the spindle hole - it plays as VG+, light crackle here and there, especially at the opening seconds of both sides, but no serious distortion, no jumps - majority of both sides plays clean, crisp, clear as a bell, sharp definition on each instrument.
Sleeve is good: solid, the laminate front is a bit creased and has ringwear, but is largely clean; has a 2cm tear in from the opening (photo provided): rear, non-laminated is very grubby, more handled, aged, browned. The three flipbacks are all solidly glued. Original inner is tatty - will only be included for completeness / a new anti-static innersleeve has been provided.
Photos are provided to give as best an overview as I can but please feel free to request more, especially if you want detail on an aspect of this lovely LP.
Seller conditions: Please complete your transaction with 48 hours of auction ending - or immediately if item is a Buy-It-Now. Unless that is, you have asked about multiple purchases, prior to an item finishing. Happy to answer any questions, upload more photos etc. Thanks for your custom.
