Description
After 15 years of serious buying of collections to build my own, I’m finally letting go all of the doubles and ones that don’t strike my fancy. I have 9 different lots up for auction right now of records of different genres: Classic Rock, Jazz, Soul/Funk, Country/Folk, ‘70s-’80s rock & pop, compilations, soundtracks and misc/oddball stuff.
This auction is for approximately 60 stage and original cast soundtracks. Many of the best!

Yes, the main photo is stock, as these are all already boxed and ready to go to a new home. I have tried to provide a video flip-though of every record in each lot (see link below). I can’t guarantee that some weren’t missed as I did it, but I can guarantee that everything you see in the video will be included in the lot. As these great lots are comprised of many different individual collections (in some cases, from small record shops), there may be doubles or triples of selected albums. This is only the case in a very few instances per few hundred records. And hey, maybe you need six copies of that Loggins & Messina debut :)
Shipping. There are hundreds of records in each lot. They are packed in moving-quality, 13x13x13 reinforced cardboard boxes. They are heavy. However… I WILL SHIP BOTH DOMESTICALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY! Local pick-up is the only shipping setting in eBay because costs will vary drastically and these have to go in multiple boxes. Figure around $30 per 80LP box within the US. If you live close to NYC and UPS ground is cheaper than media mail, I will ship it that way. Please contact me directly with your postal code and/or country for rates. International will likely have to arrange for freight, but I have a reliable LCL sea freight shipper. If you have your own agent to pick up and ship, that’s fine, too. Please let me know when you inquire. Local pick-up is of course free with flexible, contactless retrieval in Brooklyn, NY, easy street parking out front.
Condition. THIS DISCLAIMER APPLIES TO EVERY LOT. The majority of these records are VG/VG+, in solid shape and very playable, great additions to your collection or viable for resale. I never bought completely trashed records and just toss ones that are too scratched to play. That said, there will be a number of G+ records, which may have a good bit of surface noise; there is also a good number of NM records, some that look unplayed. Many records (across the genres) are in poly sleeves. I believe that anyone, either collector or dealer, would be happy with the overall condition of the records. However, because of the low starting bid and the reality of subjective grading, ALL LOTS ARE BEING OFFERED AS-IS, with no specific guarantee or warranty on condition. Covers are also generally VG/VG+, you will hopefully be able to see what they generally look like from the videos.
