Description
Produced in 1957, I am pretty sure this is a First Issue. Here are the matrix numbers:
Matrix / Runout Side A: XLP39109-1K (might be 1H..) Matrix / Runout Side B: XLP39110-1A
Discogs lists 5 1957 Mono versions, and one of them has these matrix numbers with the exception that the 1K is given in discogs as 1H. The "K" I read is a little splotchy and might be "H". Other identifying characteristics, including 1) deep groove labels, 2) on the label, album title and artist name each written on 2 lines (4 lines total) above the spindle hole, 3) the small Columbia "eye" symbol is to the bottom-right of the circled "LP" at bottom of labels, 4) liner notes: "Dear Old Stockholm is a Swedish folk tune...", and 5) the back seam reads: The Miles Davis Quintet, are all present on this jacket and label.
Jacket with light corner and edge wear, some tearing bottom left corner, no splits, rings or marks. Soiling on back jacket (see listing photo). LP found without inner sleeve, plain white sleeve added for listing. The LP LOOKS QUITE PLAYABLE, there are some light scratches on clean vinyl, nothing at all heavy, visually I'll grade in the VG+ to VG++ range.
