Description
This is an LP that was distributed to radio stations only titled “The Ramones’ Beat From the Street” with one side by Martha Velez “Escape from Babylon” and The Ramones – featuring Rock Around The World promos, commercials, etc. These types of discs were played by local FM radio stations as part of their programming – includes the program log insert. One of the spots for Rock Around The World actually has part of The Beatles “The End” on it!! These were meant to be programmed by the stations, then tossed away – and as no-one in the FM world cared about The Ramones in 1976 most were probably tossed away. This is quite a piece of ephemora for punk rock collectors!
The record is nm, so is the insert, the all-red jacket has a very small nick in front, the Suffolk Cablevision sticker shows some age as do most album cover stickers that are three-decades old.
Please note we charge a $2.00 handling fee per order - We take the time to make sure that the records will arrive safely. Please note that boxes, postage meter rental, packing materials, rent and employees are not cheap - check our feedback :)
