Chet Baker - Chet Baker Sings - PJ-1222 - (VG) - very glossy, light scuffs - (1956)


Seems to be a 1956 US press with side 1 runout "PJ PS 1805 RE 2   H" and side 2 runout "PJ PS 1806 RE 2   H".  The runout and label images match the discogs listing for 1956 with only Pacific Jazz listed as the label (not World Pacific Records).


Side 1 is VG with a few faint sleeve scuffs and hairlines along with a couple long wider scuffs across multiple songs.  Side 2 is also VG and has a few less marks than side 1.


Playback is VG on side 1.  There is light surface noise throughout along with a few random louder pop/clicks but the music still comes through nicely.


Playback is lower end VG...closer to G+ on side 2.  Light surface noise throughout.  Looks to have fewer marks than side one but has a little more surface noise especially songs 6-8.  There are 2 tiny skips on song 1 but the needle continued forward.


Overall ok player copy.


Sleeve is in good/fair condition.


This record plays with some surface noise.

Record was cleaned using a spin clean washer, air dried, then put in an anti-static sleeve.


Ratings are subjective so more detailed pics can be sent per request.  This is not a perfect album but certainly good for listening if you don't mind slight surface noise during the quiet parts.  Sold as is - no returns.
