FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS THIS MINT FACTORY SEALED ORIGINAL 1970~FAN CLUB ONLY~U.S. BEATLES “CHRISTMAS” ALBUM IN THE ORIGINAL WRAP WITH ONLY A BIT OF CRUNCHING TO THE CORNERS. (Apple/Beatles USA Ltd SBC-100)
For the holidays 1963-1969, the Beatles recorded a series of unique flexi-discs (floppy records) containing specially created Christmas messages that were distributed only to members of their fan club. The ‘63 and ‘64 messages had the boys reading from a prepared script by Tony Barrow. For ‘65, they improvised their material, including an out-of-tune rendition of "Yesterday.” The discs for ‘66 and ‘67 are a series of comic sketches, with a different recurring theme song for each one. By the time the ‘68 and ‘69 discs were issued, it was clear that the boys were going in different directions, as they had separately recorded messages. After The Beatles break up in 1970, the fan club issued “The Beatles Christmas Album” containing all 7 Christmas programs together.
A distinguishing detail of the original, authentic official issues directly from the Fan Club, is the visibility of "Theater Royal " pictured in the bottom row, second from left, over the heads of John & Paul (SEE PHOTOS). It has never been opened.
This album was for BEATLES Fan Club Members only - Very exclusive - and was NEVER available to the public. nor retail stores at any time - Was also never officially released on CD, cassette or otherwise.
