Description
Based on my research, this is a 3rd Press with these features:
RIAA #3 indicating an East Coast press Light Brown "Beatles" Title Label: 3 BMI (Side-1, Track-1 & 2)(Side-2, Track-5), the rest all ASCAP No produced by George Martin on lower left of rear cover.
Here are the matrices:
Matrix / Runout (Side A stamped): ST-1-2047-A3 [IAM in triangle] Matrix / Runout (Side B stamped): ST-2-2047-W3 [IAM in triangle]
There are 1-2 indistinct rubbed stamped items on both matrices
FOUND WITH ORIGINAL SHRINK STILL PRESENT! The shrink is torn in the back on the left half and it is seen that there is toning/soiling on left side of the jacket. There is also remnants of clear tape on the shrink on back and the front as the original owner attempted to keep the shrink in place on the jacket. There is also a small tear on the front shrink upper left hand corner where some corner wear is seen, and also some toning/soiling at that small spot. Overall, the jacket underneath the intact shrink looks to be in very good condition.
The original blue inner sleeve is present, which is split about 4" center. The LP will be removed from this original inner and placed in a separate plastic inner sleeve.
The LP LOOKS QUITE PLAYABLE with a visible light scuff (not a scratch) on Side 1, and no further scratches or scuffs seen over clean vinyl. There is little to no spindle hole wear, with a tiny mark or two around the spindle on each side. I'll provide an overall LP grade of VG++.
The LP in a separate plastic sleeve, the original sleeve, and the jacket with its tenuously attached shrink all stored in an outer over-sized plastic protective sleeve for storage and shipment.
