Description
More than one radio station, over the years, has put out hits collections over the years. I believe WCFL put out four of them. This collection is titled Big 10 Radio Presents Solid Gold For Chicago. It has 16 songs on one album. The songs could be unedited, as with an average running time of 2:30 per tune, its only 40 minutes, but I don't have time do research. With the passing of Ron Britain the other day, only Dick Biondi is left from the list of DJs on the back. The 16 songs listed are all commons, and should be readily available on one collection, or another. It's the novelty of the radio station collection, the liner notes by the late Jimmy P. Stagg. and most of Ron Britain's autograph that make it collectible. The cover is in fair condition, but you should have no trouble with the sound quality. I can tell you that it's probably dated around the summer of 1969. You would need a pristine copy of the album for an upgrade.
