Description

LP, White Label Test Pressing, "Sound of the Future - Quadraphonic Stereo Sound System" with Max Frost and the Troopers!

This is a test pressing ca.1970 of CBS' introduction of their "sound for the future, "SQ Quadraphonic Stereo Sound System".  This one-sided, 3-track quadraphonic pressing contains: 1) a non-technical explanation for the layman of what quadraphonic sound is, with audio examples; 2) a track of classical music; and 3) the 1968 Max-Frost-and-the-Troopers, "Nothing Can Change the Shape of Things to Come" (which in itself is worth the price of this vinyl).
