(KONTROVERSY ) by (THE KINKS )...... ....(1965 first pressing Original Reprise steamboat label VINYL of one of the best early KINKS albums that delivers on the whole with their Brit Invasion garage rockin' sound laced with memorable pop sensibilities that would later flourish ... Original printed Reprise inner sleeve IS included... Kinks are peaking in their British Invasion R&B laced rave-ups and produce their first really good album, packed with hard-edged pop rock grooves that dispenses with most of the awkward R & B elements of their prior albums and embraces melody, harmony, and some interesting arrangements; the exception being "Milk Cow Blues," a garage-burner whose energy rescues it from the formulaic sound of some of those earlier excursions.
