Description
Here is an excellent copy of one of the most sought-after of all audiophile LPs. LSC 1806 is the legendary Fritz Reiner/CSO recording of Richard Strauss' Also Sprach Zarathustra. This is a 1s/1s shaded dog (Fulop UR1) copy. Both sides play NM, and the sound is stunning -- far superior to the Classic Records reissue of a few years ago. There are two light marks on Side 1 which do not sound at all. The cover is well intact and very nice, except for an area on the left side damaged a little by removal of RCA's advertising sticker. It would be very difficult indeed to locate a copy of this collector's item in such good condition, especially considering that the record is nearly a half-century old.
