Description

Here is a very nice copy of the legendary 1s 1s shaded dog label pressing of RCA Living Stereo LSC 2436.  Fritz Reiner conducts the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in Respighi's Pines of Rome and Fountains of Rome.

The immense dynamic range on this record was too much for many people's record players in 1960, so shortly after this recording was issued, RCA recalled it and remastered it at a lower level.  Of course, on modern equipment it plays great, making this original issue with 1s stampers one of the greatest and most sought-after of the Living Stereos.

Disc is NM-, one faint sleeve haqirline on side 1 which does not sound, no visible spindle wear, jacket  VG+.  Started well below market value, with no reserve.
