Description
VERY rare earliest possible 1S/A1 pressing with UR2 labels in mint condition; no spindle traces, appears unplayed. Cover has slight seam splits & edge wear; "Goody's" price sticker & slight discoloration on back. Also remnants of original pink sticker remains on front. Fritz Reiner conducts the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in one of the most stunning performance of this piece ever done. This is one of the earliest Stereo records done by RCA. Because of time, I can only grade discs and jackets visually. I grade conservatively but realistically: the highest grade I will give an unsealed disc whose surfaces are pristine and unmarked is NM. A NM- grade indicates a disc with very minor visible evidence of use (usually described) that should not seriously interfere with audition. Given the variable quality of vintage vinyl pressings, even a NM disc may suffer from occasional tics or occasional light surface noise, especially during quiet passages.
