Exclusive Open End Interview With Dr. Sydney Cohen & Excerpts From Documentary Album
Capitol TAO-2574 scarce '66 MONO white label promo only LP. From Acid Archives:
A seldom seen promo-only Capitol release tied in with their famous "LSD" documentary LP. Side 1 features the unnervingly warbling voice of Dr Sidney Cohen with gaps of silence in between his responses, so that any local radio DJ in Keokuk, Iowa could pretend that Cohen was right there in the studio to answer his questions. To reduce the risk for improper use of this open-end interview, prepared questions are printed on the back sleeve, and the DJ is further instructed to "ad-lib an 'oh' or 'I understand' or like sentiment". Needless to say, listening to this in a lysergic state will produce an amazing, ghostly effect certain to drive inexperienced travellers up the wall.
Side 2 features excerpts from the aforementioned "LSD" LP and seems to contain only material found on the official release.
Jacket Grade: VG(+) Little to no wear to the majority of the textured cover art. Unfortunately the lower right corner of the cover is torn off. No splits.
Record Grade: NM-. No visible play wear. A few faint sleeve marks.
