This is A RARE AND GREAT UK - MOD / SOUL - 1ST PRESSING COPY THAT RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE !!! This was the FIRST of ONLY 2 SINGLES RELEASED by LUCAS WITH THE MIKE COTTON SOUND AND is a GREAT - MOD / SOUL single !!! It was comped on the: ON THE BRINK - RETURN OF THE INSTRO-HIPSTERS and "Night Comes Down: 60s British Mod, R&B, Freakbeat & Swinging London Nuggets” compilations !!!
The tracks are: LUCAS WITH THE MIKE COTTON SOUND - WE GOT A THING GOING BABY / THE MIKE COTTON SOUND - SOUL SERENADE.
The single came out on M.G.M. RECORDS catalogue number MGM 1398.
VISUAL condition of the vinyl is VG+++ condition (light non feelable scuffs and marks only !!! + writing on side B. label), comes in an old white die cut sleeve !!!
