Here is a very rare really excellent freaky sounding 1972 uk underground acid-psych-prog album by the litter known 'Lucifer'. Lucifer were not a band, it is now known that the album was actually a disguised solo effort by Ex-Purple Gang member Peter Walker, this means that the other band members credited on the sleeve were invented. This LP by Lucifer is musically similar to underground psych-rock albums by The Godz, The Deviants, Twink, & early Edgar Broughton band. This record was never commercially available to buy in record stores, it was only available by mail order through the underground magazines Oz and IT (international Times). Being unknown and only available by mail order it sold very poorly and so copies do not surface for sale very often at all. All pictures provided are of the actual album for sale. CONDITION = EX+
This copy is in EX+condition. Both sides of the vinyl are very clean, there are no bad marks scuffs or scratches at all, there are just a few very light signs of careful play. All tracks play and sound excellent throughout with the absolute minimal amount of very light behind the music background noise and just a few very light tics, this is actually almost none at all as both sides play and sound very close to new. This album has been well looked after and rarely played so there is no lessoning in the sound quality. The labels are in excellent very clean condition. The single card sleeve is in very good+ condition, the front and back are very good but with some light ring-wear and also a small amount of creasing. The edges and spine just have a few very small areas of wear. This cover still looks great and has no bad defects such as rips or seem splits.
