Description: An overlooked Masterpiece of early European Modern Jazz! It's not only titled Jazz in my Soul - it definitely has Soul! Great deep, personal Jazz - regarding the whole package it reminds me of another great early European Jazz album by Yoki Freund: Yogi Jazz.
Despite the early recording date (1965) bass player Ludek Hulan (all compositions are by him) has for sure a distinctive European Modern Jazz style - no wonder he was the founder of the influential Studio 5 Ensemble with Karel Velebny and he played in the Big Bands of Gustav Brom and Karel Krautgartner. An underrated early European Modern Jazz LP - here in a great Deluxe Gatefold issue with wonderful photos & art work. Sleeve notes in English and German.
