CUORI SOLITARI / TEMA DI GIOVANNA ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by LUIS ENRIQUEZ BACALOV e la sua ORCHESTRA con I 4 + 4 di NORA ORLANDI. Original Italian pressing on the RCA ITALIANA label (PM 3507), from 1970. Bewitching and desirable soundtrack double-sider by the cult arranger with Edda Dell'Orso and sexy vocal chorus. For us, the Italians were the masters of the Brazilian lounge sound in Europe with the beautiful CUORI SOLITARI bossa theme being an outstanding example of the genre ;) Infectious shakers / bongos / male and female scat harmony on this seductive flight to Rio. Fabulous mood music for fashion shows and jazz DJs. The elusive CUORI SOLITARI theme on 7-inch is actually the same track as Paranagua' that appears on Bacalov's Paesaggi Library session on General Music label. More beautiful voices and haunting Morricone style orchestrations on the psychedelic giallo thriller influenced TEMA DI GIOVANNA with waltz motifs built around spinette / harpsichord / flute and gentle Brazilian rhythms. Big record with certain Japanese collectors. Atmospheric sounds from the sexy film directed by Franco Giraldi starring Ugo Tognazzi and Senta Berger. Striking picture sleeve artwork. Notoriously difficult to find in top condition. Rare OST 45!!!  

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition overall with a few hairlines. A few faint pressing residue marks (but quite normal for this particular release). Some light surface noises. Superb production sound. Promo-only ink stamp to one side of label. Item most probably unplayed prior to the recording of our soundclip. The soft card picture sleeve is in strong VG+ condition with some creasing / ripples from storage. One faded moisture stain (just under middle of the front top seam) / some ring dirt marks and other general dirt marks. Rare OST 45!!!
