Description
BRISTOLS No.1 RARE RECORD SHOP *Item for sale* LUTHER ALLISON ~ Love Me Mama ~ US DELMARK ORIGINAL SAMPLE LP DS 625 EX
This is a very clean US first sample pressing of Luther Allisonh's "Love me mama" , on
Delmark, from 1969 .
The front and back covers are very clean, a small creases top right. The rear cover is clean and
crease free, apart from a little wear over the sample stamp. The spines are all good, some
rubbing towards the bottom right edge. Both labels are clean, both with sample stamps.
The vinyl surface looks mint at first glance. Look closer and you can make out some small
pressing imperfections, tiny raised smaller than a pinhead sized bits here and there. There's
virtually no visible sign of play wear, under strong light I found one or two fine hairlines and a
tiny mark at the beginning of the second track on the A-side, which causes a few ticks. There's
light background here and there, I'm guessing it's the pressing rather than from play, as there's
barely a spindle trail on the labels and the surfaces look barely played.
