Description
(Take a look at my list later this week also as I will be adding more chamber and early stereo Lp's Thursday & Sunday.)
Uk Decca LXT 2725-6 Erich Kleiber & the VPO plus soloists Hilde Gueden, Sieglinde Wagner, Anton Dermota and Ludwig Weber in the Beethoven 9th Symphony. Sound is astonishing, getting a mention in audiophile websites and most importantly, this is a performance that only has the Furtwangler as a Peer in its majestic grasp of this sublime work.
Earliest type unlaminated sleeves are not split, chipped bent or written on and are clean, just the usual light seam rubs.
Look at that wonderful period artwork.
First orange gold labels are unmarked. All 4 playing surfaces are completely free of any type of marks, like you never see on Lp's of this age usually. NM all round. Take a look at the other Lp's in my list this week as there are many pre stereo LXT's, Nixas and similar, plus 1960's stereo from one very nice collection, also strong on rare chamber lp's.
Feel free to combine shipping for great postage deals.
This is one of some very exciting classical rarities in my list this week, Early mono & stereo, violin cello piano and major label desirables. They are all well worth a look and a bid, same low start no reserve on everything regardless of value.
Single lp's ship to the US for $8 air. Asia is $10, Europe $5 and Uk £2. Multiple wins vastly reduces the cost per item, and with 10 wins or more I subsidise the postage.
NO RESERVE
