Description
For sale are two imported vinyl releases of Lydia Lunch albums!!
The Sex Voodoo (World Youth Records, WY 034) is a Japanese import released in limited edition of only 500!! This is Lunch's 1978-1982 Early Recordings.
The bootleg of Funhouse (A-Lad-Insane, 8207) is technically The Birthday Party Featuring Lydia Lunch and is a German Import. This album was recorded live in July 1982 at Aladin in Bremen, Germany!
Lydia Lunch began her activity in 1977 with Teenage Jesus And The Jerks as lead singer and guitar player, taking part in the No Wave movement. She's still producing music and collaborating on several projects as her latest one Lydia Lunch Retrovirus, beside leading her solo career too. She's also involved in writing and has edited books of poetry and fiction.
Discs are VG++ and play with very faint hiss from inner sleeve marks, and both show some scuffs which don't really affect play.
Funhouse plays closer to EX!
Jacket is Good + for Sex Voodoo (with creasing and noticeable edge wear, no major splits but quite a bit of rubbing) and Funhouse is VG+ aside from some staining from a spill near the opening (a few small spots, not very noticeable but still there)
Shipping is $4 in the U.S.
Combined shipping available if requested.
