Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of a double LP compilation of music by Lydia Lunch's different late '70s/early '80s no-wave/avant-garde groups. The earlier material by Teenage Jesus & the Jerks and Beirut Slump is uncompromising no-wave/post punk. Side 3, which compiles work by 8 Eyed Spy, includes an unlikely and kinda catchy version of "Diddy Wah Diddy." The material on side 4, which is devoted to Lunch's collaborations with other artists, is relatively more listener friendly, and concludes with her single with Sonic Youth, "Death Valley '69." The jacket is close to M- with a little creasing (EX+). The top seam is half unglued. The discs are clean, and play with minimal surface noise (M-).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
