Description

LYN CHRISTOPHER – LYN CHRISTOPHER

PARAMOUNT SPFL 288

1973 UK FIRST PRESSING

HIGHLY COLLECTABLE RARE CULT CLASSIC

VINYL GRADES VG+:  Nice shine and lustre. Some very faint hairlines and a little light mottling (no effect on audio), nothing nasty.

PLAY TESTING: Fully play tested. Generally, plays very well throughout with bright and vibrant audio! Being hyper-critical, there is a very faint repetitive tick at the end of S1T3 and into dead wax that lasts for only about 8 revs and on S2, some minimal crackle in the space between T3-4. Ultra nit-picking aside, generally excellent audio.

SLEEVE GRADES EX: Very nice sleeve and clean to front and back.  No writing or sticker residues anywhere. Plain white inner sleeve.

LABELS: Clean, without writing or sticker residues and only minimal spindle marking.

MATRIX: SPFL 288 A-1/B-1, First UK pressing

Very nice copy of this highly collectable album. Nice enough in it’s own right as funky country rock, it has attained cult status due the involvement of Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley on backing vocals on several tracks, the duo later going on to found and to feature as half of rock superstars “KISS”! A very nice item for someone’s collection.

At the moment I regret that I am only posting to the UK. International postage considered, by prior arrangement only.

Please check my other listings. Postal discounts for multiple buys always available.

Please be aware that the photos on my listings are always of the actual item and not stockshots. I always give a very honest (albeit conservative) description of the item. Whilst not being a professional trader (I am a retired music librarian and longtime record collector), items will be packed using only the best of materials and posted within 48 hours of payment. Please see my feedback for independent views.

For your information the gradings I use are as follows:-

Mint(M) - Brand New (Sealed)

Nearmint (NM) - Looks almost unplayed * Cover almost brand new

Excellent(EX) - Maybe a light scuff but otherwise great condition * Cover will have some wear/slight crease/faint ringwear etc

Verygood (VG) - Could have scuffing and some light scratches etc *Cover might have some creasing/fading/ring wear/marks or writing but still reasonable condition

Good(G) - Should play through ok but will have plenty of scratches etc * Cover couldbe ripped/stained/unglued etc

Fair - Very ordinary/ Might play through but most likely just for the collection* Cover will be pretty terrible.

+ or- (minus) after the grading denote variations within the grade.
