Here are 4 lps by Lynyrd Skynyrd including 3 Japanese audiophile pressings with obis and inserts, and a US pressing of their first lp. Hard to find these in decent condition. All have been stored and will be shipped in MFSL rice paper sleeves.

Pronounced Lynyrd Skynyrd, MCA 3019, cover has some very light rubwear, mostly on the black back cover, and the disc has some small, light surface marks that do not effect play. Both EX. Includes I Ain't The One, Gimme Three Steps, Free Bird (9 minute version), etc.

Second Helping, MCA p-5932, Japanese pressing with obi and insert. Everything looks near mint, but we'l call the disc EX+ as you do hear an occasional light tic. Includes Sweet Home Alabama, Don't Ask Me No Questions, Call Me The Breeze.

Nothin' Fancy, MCA 6073, Japan pressing with obi and insert. Cover insert and obi M-, disc EX++, some light surface marks that are not audible. Includes Saturday Night Special, On the Hunt, Whiskey Rock and Roller.

Street Survivors, MCA VIM 6145, with obi and insert. Cover is EX with some very light edge/corner wear and spotting on the inside of the gatefold. Otherwise very solid display quality. The disc has some surface marks and some look serious, but they play through with no problems. I listened to it in the phones and didn't note any particular problems. I'm rating it EX but I think it plays better than that. Includes What's Your Name, That Smell, I Know a Little, You Got That Right, etc.

The Rant: I'm tired of receiving lps graded MINT that have scratches and scuffs. Also the ones that are so dirty the seller can't see the scratches and scuffs. I'm also dizzy from trying to decipher mint minus from EX+, VG+ from EX, etc, with no description of what caused that rating.

The commitment: I'll describe the item as much as I need to to give a clear picture of the condition. If there are flaws, I'll describe them. If there are ANY marks OF ANY KIND on the vinyl I'll play through them to make sure they do not affect the listening experience. If they do, the listing will say so. Grading is an arbitrary thing, so I'll assign a grade, and you can use the description to cross check. Please e:mail any questions prior to the close of the auction. I will guarantee your money back, plus your postage, if the description of the item is inaccurate.

I got a question about the Street Survivors vinyl so this is to clarify. In bright light at the correct angle, there are 2 half inch hairlines and one roughly 2 inch hairline, and also about a 1 inch diameter scuff. These are LIGHT surface marks. I just listened through each of these marks again and heard NO noise caused by any of them. I was asked if the lp is a keeper. In my opinion, definitely yes. Hope this helps.
