Description
One of a nice treasure trove of Classical rarities we have just had in, a single reviewers collection and many unplayed lps.
1967 Decca 1st Pressing with 1K2K 1st year stampers of this nice Holst Chamber orchestra collection conducted by his Daughter Imogen.
A fave of the German audiophile community, Brakemeier concluded:
Dynamics, bass line, spatial and tonal colors are as it were at the highest level. The instruments have tremendous body and form a convincing overall picture.
No Lyrita sounds more realistic!
Mainly, you will encounter Nimbus pressings. These are by no means bad, but they no longer have the impressive physical punch of the first pressings.
This, however, is an early Decca pressing from one of the best Decca cutter - "K" (Fisher)
UK Decca pressing - grooved blue/silver labels fliback sleeve true 60s press with 1K2K 1st year stampers
Near mint record in a near mint sleeve, no splits dirt or pen. With my acutex, I got near mint sound, I agree with the German guy.
we send packed in hard card custom made new boxes.
