BIS Records stereo 2 disc gatefold set LP-163/164, original orange label discs pressed in West Germany.  "La Spagna" instrumental music of the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries.  Played on a wide range of instruments by the Atrium Musicae de Madrid, led by Gregorio Paniagua. 

Absolutely spectacular sound on this long time audiophile favorite, and this is a beautiful copy.  On The Absolute Sound Super Disc List.   This is about as close to new as it gets (play graded).

Just bought many records from the collection of a real Classical Audiophile.  I will be listing them over the next few weeks. Labels include  Proprius, Opus 3, Astree, EMI, Japanese King & Nippon Reissues, etc.

Grading Scale

NM -   near perfect, played rarely if ever.

VG++ - almost like new with only superficial signs of use that dont affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to VG++.

VG+  - vinyl may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or light scratches that don't affect the sound.

VG  -  surface noise will be noticeable,but will not overpower the music.

Good does not mean bad! The record still plays through without skipping, so it can serve as filler until something better comes along. But it has significant surface noise and groove wear, and the label is worn, with significant ring wear, heavy writing, or obvious damage caused by someone trying to remove tape or stickers and failing miserably. A Good to VG– cover has ring wear to the point of distraction, has seam splits obvious on sight and may have even heavier writing, such as, for example, huge radio station letters written across the front to deter theft.
