Description
Up for auction is a 1920s Jazz 78 by The La Veeda Dance Orchestra.Columbia D label # 1549-D.The songs are titled Strut Yo' Stuff on one side and has I Need Some Lovin' on the other side.The La Veeda Dance Orchestra was led by Tony Parenti.I also have another Tony Parenti 78 up for auction at this time which is by Parenti's Liberty Syncopators which you can check if interested.The Stut Yo' Stuff side on this record has a few extremely light scratches along with 2 tiny scratches I can feel with fingernail.The other side also has extremely light scratches with a couple I can feel with fingernail.Looks to have a very small amount of pitting on this side but it does not affect play at all.I played both sides of this 78 and plays fantastic.The Strut Yo' Stuff side plays stunningly with no static at all when the treble is adjusted down all the way.When treble is turned about halfway it plays with extremely light to light static.The I Need Some Lovin' side plays Beautifully also with Extremely light to light static when treble turned down all the way.Both sides have groove wear please see picture but it does not seem to affect the play at all.Really is a Beautiful record for being about 80 years old.If the buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund policy on all records I sell.Buyer to pay $4.00 Media rate shipping anywhere in the U.S.Please add $1.00 if insurance is desired.
