LaVern Baker - Learning To Love / Substitute.

Two single sided London demos of this rarity from 1958.  

The Record 

1958 Uk London single sided 45rpm demos Matrix No. MSM2519 and MSM2520, which became the Aand B sides of London HLE8638. In plain brown paper sleeves (which are probably the ones these disc were originally issued); original tri centres.

Condition

Clean and bright copies marred by the number "18" having been marked on the centre of the play side of both records. That number is also written on the blank side of each record. As is usually found with demos of this period, the track time is written on the labels as well as the record catalogue number ink stamped.

"Learning To Love" - Very good strong sound, EX.

"Substitute" - some light marking; good strong sound, VG.
