LARRY WILLIAMS - HERE'S LARRY WILLIAMS! - SPECIALITY RECORDS (FIRST USA PRESS)
CAT. NO. SP 2109 High Fidelity
Year: 1959 USA FIRST ISSUECondition: Cover is VG+, Vinyl is NM.
On offer here is Larry Williams' 'Here's Larry Williams' issued in the USA in 1959 on the Speciality label. A guaranteed Ist pressing with the deep groove label on heavy vinyl, this is a gem of an album and the sound quality is stunningly powerful. A wonderful album with several benchmark tracks inc 'Boney Moroney' and 'Short Fat Fanny'. This is a tough album to find in any condition but the vinyl here is as close to mint as you will find.
The heavy weight vinyl is graded NM and is superb, clean and shiny just the way you would like to find it.
The thick glossy USA style sleeve is conservatively graded VG+ but shows much better, there is invisible tape very cleanly applied to top and spine edges although there looks to be no splits, there is a 2 inch split at centre bottom and some wear to corners but overall a really terrific copy. The spine is solid with a little wear but all text is clearly legible. There are a couple of releases of this album with identical label designs and covers BUT the original is much heavier, deep grooved and the cover has address details, this is the real deal a early RB / RR classic!!!
Labels are Excellent and very clean.
Plain original paper inner sleeve.
W e try to be as conservative as possible in Grading and give a clear honest description so you will be happy with your purchase.
