Record: Larry Young - Unity
Label/Cat#: Blue Note / BLP 4221
Pressing info: 1966 New York USA Mono pressing. This edition does have the VAN GELDER stamp in the dead wax, along with the EAR or "P" in the dead wax. This is a 1st pressing.
GRADING (VG+): Vinyl shows very little surface wear. There are a few hairlines/light marks, none of which affect playback. There is a small pressing bubble on side B, which does not impact play. There are a few very light traces of the record being in the original inner sleeve for a lengthy period of time. In my opinion VG+ is a conservative grade on this. It's a beauty!
- Vinyl (play-graded): Incredible sounding copy from start to finish. Big, clear sound. You will hear faint surface noise at times during playback and in between tracks. The playback on this record is marvelous.
- Jacket: VG Please see pictures for details. Reach out with any questions. This cover presents very well. There is wear to the corners, top and bottom. You'll see more wear on the bottom corners of the record. I can't confirm but it does appear that the cover may have been touch by water or moisture at a point. Only slight discoloration that I notice. The back and spine are really nice. I tried to document everything as best as I could. It's overall a really nice cover!
- Insert/Inner: Original inner sleeve included, along with an archival-quality inner sleeve.
SHIPPING:
Record ships outside the jacket to prevent seam splits. Packed in a sturdy Mighty Mailer with padding.
