Description

Blue and silver label, deep groove. Blue text on the back cover. 8 tracks. Leader, Gullin, baritone sax; Carl-Henrik Norin, tenor sax; Rolf Berg, guitar; George Reidel, bass; Alan Dawson or Bo Stoor, drums. 4 longer tracks were recorded as a "Tribute to Britain". These are in a quartet format. Balance is a quintet. Recorded in the early 50's Gullin is considered one of the finest baritone saxophone players of all time. He is also a fine composer. The balance of 4 tracks are in a quintet format. This is a tour-de-force performance by Gullin with fine accompaniment. Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There are a few very short, light rub marks, barely visible. Played only a few times. No discoloration to the vinyl. None of the few surface marks mentioned effect the sound. Except for an occasional, rare, barely audible, few clicks, no other surface noise. Fine condition. Audibly checked.
