Description

Purple label with silver text. 6 tracks . The Latin Jazz Quintet includes Juna Amalbert, conga; Gene Casey, pinao; Bill Ellington, bass; Charlie Simons, vibes; Manny Ramos, drums, timbales. Also included is Eric Dolphy, alto sax, flute, bass clarinet. The label has the address of 203 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J. with the same address at the bottom of the back cover.

Cover: Fair The top edge and the spine have completely split and are secured with 4 small pieces of aging scotch tape. Light record ring on the front cover. There is a fine, verticle line on the front cover approximately 8" in length. This seems to be a minor flaw that occurred during the manufacturing of the jacket. Light aging on the back cover with a name written in the top margin.

Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear in spite of the condition of the jacket. There are a few tiny spots on the vinyl surface. These do not affect the sound. Slight groove noise on the 1st revolution on Track 1, Side A. 2 or 3 clicks on the first 2 or 3 revolutions on Track 3, Side A. Otherwise, no surface noise. Audibly checked.
