Description
As new a copy of this as you're likely to see, as I'm pretty sure I only played this through once and then stuck to 'Big Science' instead. Now seemingly more famous - at least in the UK - for being the late Lou Reed's paramour, at the time of this release she was being courted by all the music press. Anyway, the full four hours or so - I guess - of this performance, probably best seen, but nevertheless one of those 'events'. Includes, of course, a live take of 'O Superman'. Japanese pressing, so probably, therefore, the best one to have. I remember buying this new in one of those music stores in Piccadilly in London, presumably Tower Records. The sort of places we used to malign, and now wish we still had. Outer box in terrific condition, excepting the import punch hole - which goes through all the pieces in the box - in the bottom right hand corner. Booklet - with English and Japaneses translations - and card inner sleeves are as new, again excepting the aforementioned punch hole. Vinyl and labels are unmarked, and as near mint as you'll likely get. Even the OBI strip is unmarked! Rare, I suppose: limited release on CD in 1991 is long gone. ***Note: I do post worldwide, so ask for a quote of likely postage costs***This one is over 1kg in weight, so make sure you've checked the postage costs*** Vinyl always posted with cardboard stiffeners. In respect of combined postage, a double LP is treated as two LPs. Including when combining postage for a number of items, whether for UK or overseas buyers, I'll try to work out what is cheapest in each case. Don't hesitate to contact me before bidding if need be, and I'll try to give an estimate of the likely postage costs. Paypal only for non-UK bidders I'm afraid. UK buyers can pay by cheque, and I'll post on clearance of the payment. Please make payment within five days of the end of the auction, unless you intend to bid on other items, in which case, please contact me accordingly. Apologies for this, but I've had a few problems with non-payers. ***PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BIDDING*** I cannot accept responsibility for any lost packages, particularly those sent overseas. If you have doubts or concerns about the ability of the UK or your own country's postal service to get your item to you safely, I can provide an estimate for the cost of getting your package insured, although bear in mind, this is likely to greatly increase the postage costs. This also applies if you want your item sent by some tracked method, as standard inland or overseas postage from the UK - using the Royal Mail - does not include such. I always obtain proof of posting however, and so far as I am aware, I've never had a package go astray within the UK, or having been sent overseas. Check my feedback as a seller and bid with confidence! Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
