Description

A brand new, never played copy of "United States" by avant-gardist Laurie Anderson, a 5-LP box set recorded live @ the Brooklyn Academy of Music Feb. 7-10, 1983, as a musical presentation of her book of the same name. Almost 4 1/2 hours of music on 5 albums, each in their own special sleeve & special color coded labels (photos 3-5). The 5 albums slide into a cardboard slipcase for storage. I saw Part 2 @ the Orpheum Theatre in Boston a few months earlier & she was wonderful. She also has 5 back-up musicians including percussionist David Van Tiegham on this recording.
