Description

  • Near mint Leadbelly 1952 Capitol 10" LP “Classics In Jazz” (Capitol H369) arguably his rarest and best album.
  • The tracklist is: Back Water Blues/Take This Hammer/On A Christmas Day/Irene/Sweet Mary Blues/Ella Speed/Tell Me Baby/Western Plain.
  • The LP looks and plays near mint with a couple of light scratches. There are two light audible “tics” at the start of side one otherwise the record plays great with just some light occasional surface noise noticeable mainly at the lead in grooves. The cover is near mint with no splits, tears, writing or cutouts. The original price tag is on one back corner. Included is the original Capitol 10" inner sleeve that is near mint and may explain the excellent condition of the LP.
